New just isn't better, ironically.

Funny how I was eager to get myself a Keurig machine, but I ended up returning it today...after a week of using it.

There just wasn't enough...coffee...in it, oddly enough. The coffee it made was watery, and I find myself using my good old drip coffee maker which tasted better. Oh well, there goes another toy to play with.

I did end up buying some capsules for my Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffeemaker, since they were selling it at the local store now.

Next thing to shop for, new sets of knives !! Saw a few but they were either too light or just too flimsy.

Had a nice birthday dinner with some colleagues, at a Brazilian seafood restaurant in Cambridge, MA...definitely a place I'd head back to again.

And I got a call from an old friend, which made my day...brings back good memories for sure.

So thanksgiving is coming up, and I'm all hyped up to head over to the West Coast...been waiting for this moment since August. Just hanging out with the peeps, makes me forget everything for that few days, and just unwind.
