Feeling like an old timer...soon...

Figured I'll spend some time here as I'm feeling lazy to do other chores. So my birthday is coming up, but I wasted no time getting myself some early gifts. I'm sure my wallet wasn't feeling the joy.

Finally, after deciding for weeks, I got myself a Keurig machine, the B40...sure, it doesn't make the best tasting coffee...but there's something intriguing about using it. I'm a sucker for mechanical gizmos....because drip-coffeemakers feel so generic.

...

Next up, a Leatherman Wave!! Always wanted a multi-tool, although, to be honest, I don't have a real need for it. I'll find some use for it eventually...just like my Jetbeam PA40 flashlight, it found its way into my "trophy" category of random toys. Sitting pretty and clean.

...

As my flashlight collection grows, so does the power source. In this case, I tend to stick to quality Eneloop and "Duraloop" rechargeables. That calls for a quality charger, with one too many parameters that can be set. Highly recommended by other flashlight owners...the Maha MH-C9000. Selling point, was that it has 4 independent charging channels, adjustable charging and discharging rates, and, well, it works great. Has other features like reviving old batteries and such, but my inventory is still "fresh".

...

Other big ticket item includes a new pair of boots...The old pair lasted me 7 years. Served me well, I say.

I want to add, that the reason why I went with Keurig is mainly because of how scarce the Nescafe's dolce gusto capsules are around here. Keurig capsules are everywhere!! Had to do online purchases.

Needless to say, the day after I got my Keurig, Stop-and-Shop started selling Nescafe's dolce gusto capsules. The flavors that I wanted too, no less.
Really ??????

Sticking to the retro theme of songs, here's another song. I mean, listen to the guitars, drums, vocals...there's just so much substance that music nowadays lack.

Bob Seger - Old Time Rock and Roll
